Having a great looking website hosted on reliable web server is not sufficient for your business sometimes. An email account with your own domain name other than a third-party email, such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, can make your website or online service more professional. You don’t want your site visitors to find your email address like joe-3435wh@gmail.com on the Contact US page. Geez, what is that, a personal email address?
In earlier posts, we have recommended Scalahosting managed VPS hosting which is low priced, and very reliable. In fact, Scalahosting offers good free email service along with their hosting plans. Many people just don’t realize the capabilities that come free with the hosting service. They offer Horde, Roundcube and Squirrelmail for their shared hosting plans and Rainloop for managed VPS servers. Today, we will show you how to create a new email account in SPanel with Scalahosting. You can setup free email account with your own domain in SPanel and what’s more you can even integrate your new domain email with Gmail if like. This way, you can send and receive emails through the Gmail interface, but the recipients will see your emails as coming from email address with your own domain.
Create an email account that uses your domain name
Visit https://yourdomain.com/spanel/login from your web browser, then login your hosting control panel. Locate the Email section, click Email Accounts.

On the new page opens, you can find Create An Email Account at the upper section. Enter your email username or ID, then choose your domain name from the list besides it. If you have only domain hosted on the server, it will be selected automatically. Type in the same password twice in the Password and Repeat Password boxes. You can also click the Generate button to let Spanel create a random password for you. Finally hit Create Email button to setup the new email account in SPanel.

How to access SPanel email from web?
You can access the email account from web browser or through an email client. To access it from the web, open the https://yourdomain.com/spanel/login link in your web browser. Switch from Control Panel Login to Webmail Login. Type in your email address and its password, then hit Login button. You will then log into the SPanel web mail interface.

From here, you can send and reply emails, change email password, configure email forwarders, setup email autoresponders, etc.
