Create rounded corners using Photoshop

There are plenty of reasons you may want rounded corners of an image rather than leaving them at sharp 90-degree angles. People love circles, a square or a rectangle with rounded corners because they definitely look more appealing to us than sharp right angles. We see them almost on all kinds of websites these days, from personal blogs to business websites, NGO websites, educational websites, news press, social media websites, etc..

The immediate human response to sharp edges is danger. Rounded corners evoke warmth and trust. This is exactly why many call-to-action buttons, like those signing up, adding to chart, checking out buttons, are designed this way. By evoking a sense of warmth and trust, users will be more inclined to do business with a brand and convert.
