How to Install OScommerce Automatically?
Log on your control panel with Bluehost. Scroll down to the MOJO market place setion, and click One-Click Installs.
Now browse to the Ecommerce setion where you can find a list of all available pre-loaded auto installers.
Click to select and open OScommerce from above shopping cart list page. You will open the OScommerce auto installer.
In this page, you can find a short description of the oscommerce shopping cart software. You can find the current version of OScommerce, its official site and so on. There will be two buttons on the top right corner, that allow you to either create a brand new OScommerce store or import from an existing OScommerce site. In this case, let’s select Install option to create a new instance.
Now you have the chance to select a domain which you like to install OScommerce site to. Optionally you can also specify a sub-folder to store your OScommerce site files. By installing OScommerce to your domain root without a folder after the domain field, your customers will be able to access your store by visiting a link like http://mystore.com, other than something like http://mystore.com/shopping/.
Click the Check Domain button to verify see if the domain is valid. Once the domain has been validated, you can click Install Now button to finalise the auto installation of your oscommerce site.
The OScommerce auto installer will download the installation package to your hosting control panel with Bluehost, then install it automatically. Your credentials will be generated automatically as well.
Now you can log on the administrator control panel of your online store, start customizing your shopping site, publish new products….
