Restart Domain Transfer with GoDaddy

In order to successfuly transfer domain name registration from your current domain registrar to a new registrar, your domain must meet at least the following criteia: 1). purchased or transferred to your current domain for more than 60 days; 2) domain not locked; 3) domain privacy is disabled; 4) admin contact email is valid and you have access to it; 5) get the valid EPP code. How to Restart Domain Transfer with GoDaddy?

One most frequently seen issue with domain transfer failure is the incorrect contact email address for the domain administrator. You need to log on your domain or hosting account with current registrar to double check the email account on file is a valid one and you have acces to retrieve emails from it. If you update the administrative email address at your current registrar, please restart this transfer within your GoDaddy account manager.

  • Go to the GoDaddy home page and click Sign In. Log in with your username or customer number and password.
  • Next to Domains, click Manage.
  • From the Domains menu, select Transfers. You can then find all your pending transfers.
  • Select the domain name(s) from the Pending Transfers IN tab, and then click Restart Transfer button from the top tool bar.

Click OK to restart your domain transfer to GoDaddy. After that, GoDaddy will grap the most recent domain and contact info from the sending registrar or WHOIS database and email you a new transfer ID with transaction ID, transfer code and other info you need in order to authorize domain transfer.     I have a transfer for a domain that is grey out after i canceled

    I need to restart it to finish the change but the domain appeared locked on your site but not on the site of the reseller.
